With combined experience of over 60 years in the senior newspaper business, After 50 is positioned to be Western New York’s premier senior newspaper. Published at the beginning of every month, the purpose of this newspaper for people 50-plus in Western New York is to inform, entertain and facilitate the flow of information, helping seniors and their caregivers to make the most of their lives and their communities.

After 50 is a newspaper for Western New York’s active people over 50. We focus on seniors because we know that they are among the most affluent and under-represented demographic in Western New York today.

In this newspaper you will find a wide range of articles and features of interest to seniors and their caregivers. Subjects include current issues, health, travel, retirement living, and more. Special serialized stories, and a guide to events around town are among the regular features.

As part of our efforts to keep you informed we are working with the senior societies, organizations and centers, to provide coverage of their activities and upcoming events. The events being put on by a number of centers are outlined in the “Senior Activities” section in every issue of After 50.

Our mission is to publish accurate, beneficial and informative news for the aging population and their caregivers. We will provide the best coverage both in our newspaper and on-line. After 50 On-Line will have answers to many questions that are important to you and your customers.

After 50 will never shy away from our position. We are a newspaper for seniors and proud of it.
