Jewish Federation Apartments is conveniently located in a prime Williamsville area. Conveniently situated between a Wegman’s grocery store, and the Buffalo Medical group, the residents also have easy access to the post office, restaurants, drugstores, banks and numerous other amenities within walking distance. The best part of the Jewish Federation Apartments is that the Federal government will subsidize your rent according to your income. Every resident pays a different rent, but it is never more than 30% of an individual’s income. Each year the rent is refigured so that if your income decreases, your rent goes down… an unbeatable deal!!!!

Each apartment includes a kitchen complete with an electric range and full-size, frost-free refrigerator. Carpeting, smoke alarms, and an emergency medical call system are also included in the apartments. There are many opportunities for the residents to mingle within the building, including a library, computer center, pool and card room, community room, beauty shop, and social rooms.

Activities include twice-weekly exercise classes, card groups, movie nights, bingo, happy hours, and various special presentations.

Transportation is also provided by the Amherst Senior Transportation Services. Residents are able to commute everywhere from the grocery store, to the Galleria Mall, and back and forth between the Amherst Senior Center and the Jewish Community Center. They can even be transported to and from medical appointments.

This year, the Jewish Federation Apartments is celebrating 25 years of successful operation with a party and Open House.

Anyone interested in taking a tour of the building is invited to visit us on Tuesday, June 15, at 6:00 p.m. There will be guided tours at 6:30 p.m. Scheduled tours are also available by appointment. Please call 631-8471 to make an appointment, get an application, or for additional information, visit our website at www.JewishFederationApartments.org.
