Gethsamane Manor Apartments offers subsidized apartments for individuals 62 and older. We are located on 228 Kingsley Street in Buffalo, New York. We have 50 one-bedroom units, 5 of which are modified for wheelchairs and one for the hearing impaired.

Gethsemane Manor Apartments is located at the intersections of Humboldt Parkway and Kingsley Streets. We are just blocks away from a Tops Market for groceries and shops at the adjacent Jefferson/Utica Plaza. The Martin Luther King Park, Science Museum is nearby as well as banks, post office, pharmacies, and medical offices.

We are open to persons 62 years of age and older. All individuals must meet the income and age guide lines set forth by the Federal Register and the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Because we are a PRAC 202 building you must be at least 62 years and older.

A prospective tenant first must complete the application form and mail it back to us. We complete a short screening and their name is placed on a waiting list. When an apartment becomes available they are then contacted and the remaining screening is done. It is the applicant’s responsibility to inform this office of any changes in addresses or telephone numbers. If we cannot locate you by using the information on your application your name will be removed from the waiting list.
