The 2015 Medicare Open Enrollment period runs from October 15 through December 7. During this timeframe, you will have the opportunity to enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan or switch your Medicare coverage for a January 1, 2015 effective date. In order to make sure your 2015 Medicare Advantage plan is right for you, Independent Health invites you to visit one of our Medicare Information Centers for your exclusive RedShirt® Benefit Review. A friendly and knowledgeable RedShirt will meet with you to review all your plan options.
There are several Independent Health Medicare Information Centers throughout the region that are now open to the entire community, including our year-round sites in Cheektowaga/Depew, Orchard Park and Williamsville. In addition, new this fall, we have a Medicare Information Center located in Niagara Falls at the Seneca Niagara Resort and Casino.
Independent Health wants to make sure that Western New Yorkers are once again well-informed when it comes to their Medicare coverage, said Linda Rehrauer, Director of Government Sales and Service. Our Medicare Information Centers offer greater access and convenience to anyone seeking information about their Medicare plan options. By visiting one of our sites, youll be able to sit down with one our RedShirts in a comfortable setting and get your Medicare-related questions answered.

For 2015, Independent Health will continue to offer Medicare Advantage plans that are designed to meet our members individual needs, including our $0 monthly premium plans. In addition, Independent Healths Network AdvantageSM HMO Plan will be available for residents of Erie or Niagara counties. Created with the help of physicians, this unique plan is designed to lower your out-of-pocket costs, while emphasizing the importance of taking the time to review and discuss your health care needs with your primary care doctor.

Independent Health is a Medicare Advantage organization with a Medicare contract offering HMO, HMO-SNP, HMO-POS and PPO plans. Independent Healths Dual Difference is a HMO-SNP plan with a Medicare contract and a contract with the NY Medicaid program. Enrollment in Independent Health depends on contract renewal.
